Chapter 10


The main complex of Dexlabs was a tall 80 story skyscraper located in the center of the city. This was where all magic was happening now since the days of Dexter's first lab. Dexbots hurrying this way and that, Inventions were getting completed, Computress was scanning read outs. Dexter's assistant Computress was the core unit of his original AI computer built into a robot body. Dexter was sitting at his new main computer watching all the progress, But for some reason he couldn't concentrate. Something was bothering him and he didn't know how to get it to stop, It had been that way since that blow up with Blossom. The Dexter noticed Deedee standing behind him, Then he was surprised how quiet it was. No destroyed inventions, no explosions nothing. Unable to stand the tension, Dexter blurted out, "WHAT? WHAT IS IT?" "Oh Nothing." Deedee said sternly. "I was only waiting for Blossom to come through the door and pile drive you through the pavement!" Dexter growled. Deedee had been on his back about it all day. "What's it to you anyway?" Dexter asked angrily. "She and the other Powerpuff girls were trying to be your friend and you totally blow her off just because she finds one of your "Oh So needed top secret labs". Deedee replied. "Ever thought you were missing out on something with all this techno crud?" Dexter was to tell her to get out of the lab when Otto suddenly appeared  from the teleporter. "Dexter we got an emergency!" Otto stated greatly distressed. "It's Blossom!" "What about her?" Dexter asked confused. "SHE'S BEEN CAPTURED!" Yelled Otto. He gave Dexter what had been in the package he got. It was Blossom's bow, It was all tattered. "OH NO!" Deedee cried. Pinned to the bow was a note.
It read:
"Guess Who. Dexter.

We have One of your Powerpuff friends. Gather the other two and meet me at my new headquarters. Follow these coordinates. This Time we finish this

Mandark"

"MANDARK!" Shouted Dexter. "I knew he'd be back someday!" "But how and why did he take Blossom?" Deedee asked. Dexter was confused. Himself he could understand, but The Powerpuff girls? Mandark had no run ins  with them before. Unless there was someone else involved. "I'll call Bubbles and Buttercup!" said Otto. "NO!" Dexter declared. "I smell a trap. If we call in Bubbles and Buttercup they'll get in danger too. I'll take care of this!" Deedee was stunned. "Your going alone?" Dexter grinned. "Oh, Not alone!" Dexter grabbed the phone and dialed for New Jersey. "Hi Coop. I'm gonna need your help!"


Over in the area where Blossom and Bell fought, Brick was surveying the area looking for clues. The entire woods looked like a warzone. Torn down trees, shattered rocks, craters, the whole place looked like a fight between Superman and Doomsday. Or at the very two super powered little girls. "And they say We're Destructive!" Muttered Brick. Part of Brick wondered why he was doing this at all. He hated this girl, Or did he? Was he suppose to? He didn't know. Lately He had been going through a LOT of mixed emotions. He wondered if his brothers were too. But being the tough as nails badass he was setting himself up to be he never asked. Pushing the thoughts aside, he focused on the matter at hand. If he was gonna do this, He might as well get to it. "Now let's see." He said to himself. Using his supervision, he tried to see if they had left any tracks. but while there were footprints, they stopped short at an area of matted grass where obviously some sort of VTOL had been parked. "Must have been the transport they used!" Brick deduced. He scanned the skies in hope of finding a vapor trail but to no avail. Brick pondered on the situtation. "Let's see." He thought. "They wouldn't have gone through all the trouble of capturing Blossom if they weren't after Bubbles and Buttercup too. But why would that scrawny Bowling Ball headed nerd want them. I don't remember him in the rogues gallery." Brick was thinking about sneaking over the powerpuffs house to see if any clues could be found there when all of a sudden a huge shadow passed over him. Brick stared in awe as the most AWESOME giant robot he had ever seen flew over him. In the sweet looking car that served as the robot's head unit he saw a somewhat large around the mid section 20 something with blonde hair and goatee pilot the bot and seated next to him was that Dex whatever his name was. "Hmm. Well I guess I got a trail now don't I!" Brick grinned and took to the air silently following the robot.

Inside the cockpit of Megas, Dexter sat in the passenger seat next to Coop while Deedee sat with Kiva and Jamie in the back. "After all the time you spent upgrading Megas You STILL didn't fix the Time Drive?" Kiva asked dumbfounded. "Slipped my mind!" Dexter said sheepishly. Kiva had been trying to fix the time drive for quite some time. She was hoping to get Megas back to the future so they could destroy the Glorft once and for all.
Truth was Coop had asked Dexter to sorta hold off on the Time drive because he was a little afraid that once  The Glorft  were gone, Megas would be taken away forever. "Look lay off the kid Kiva!" Coop said defending Dexter. Since entrusting Megas to Dexter He and Coop had become fast friends. "Besides we got bigger things to deal with right now!"
"Riiiiight."Said Jamie. "Like rescuing Dex's superpowered girlfriend!" He teased. "SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!" Dexter roared. "So why are you trying to save her yourself and cutting out Blue puff and green puff?" Jaime went on. At this moment Deedee jumped in. "Dexter was jerk to her so this is his way of apologizing to her!" Dexter rolled his eyes but silently thank Deedee. Just then.. "Huh?" "What is it Dex?" Asked Coop. Dexter shook his head. "A minute there I thought I saw some sort of red streak zip by us. Weird!"

Blossom's head was pounding as she came to. "Uhh..." She groaned. She struggled to her feet only to find that he hands were bound together. "What the..." She struggled with all her super strength to get free but the bands wouldn't budge. Was something draining her powers. The last thing she remembered was after rumbling with that little psycho girl, she was jumped by a bunch of cyber monsters and knocked out. But where was she now. Glancing around she saw that she was in the usual glass tube prison in usual evil looking lab. "Owwww.. She groaned. She was still aching from the bout with Bell plus the beating those monsters gave her. "I fought my fair share of monsters back in Townsville, But those were something else!" She said out loud. "There called Kaijin!" A familiar nasely voice declared. "But right now that's the least of your problems!" Out of the shadows stepped Mandark. He was dressed in a stereotypical super villains outfit complete with a long sinister looking cape with a high collar and techno gloves. It was intended to make him look fearful and intimidating. But all it really did was make him look like an even bigger nerd than usual. Blossom had had it up to here already. She continued to struggle to break free but to no avail. "Struggle all you want!" Mandark boasted. "Those cuffs are emitting a special energy that's keeping your powers negated!" Blossom was horrified. How would Mandark know how to do that? "WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH ME?" Blossom demanded. "Personally nothing, However my partner wants you and your sisters dead very much!" Mandark stated. "Isn't that Right? MOJO!" Blossom gasped, stepping out of the shadows wearing a modified version of his old outfit was the PowerPuff Girls old arch enemy Mojo Jojo! "MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The insane monkey cackled. "MOJO JOJO!!" shrieked Blossom.
"Ah Blossom." Mojo sounded like he was talking to an old friend. "I was beginning to think that I had been forgotten!" The whole thing was starting to make sense to Blossom now. As she started to figure things out Mojo continued his rants. "When I was forced to flee Townsville, I was down and out for months. But thanks to the help of my new ally Mandark I have begun my rebuilding to Ultimate POWER!" Mandark then spoke out. "But first things first. ELIMINATE ALL OBSTACLES!" "When you and your sisters started to attend the same school as my mortal foe Dexter, It was a conveint way to kill two (Or 4) birds with one stone!" That explained why Mandark went through the trouble to capture her, but Blossom still didn't understand something. "But How did you two meet? And where did you get all this stuff?" Blossom demanded. "Details, Details!" Mojo scoffed. "Besides.." Mandark snickered. "Your not gonna live long enough to care anyway!" "Excellent YES EXCELLENT AH HA HA AH HAHA HA HAH AHAHA.... Mandark and Mojo's maniacal laughter was cut short by the alarm blaring. Mojo turned on the monitor and the image showed Megas coming into sight. "Impressive mech!" Mojo observed. "And according to my scanners DEXTER IS ON THAT MECH!" Shouted Mandark. "ARM DEFENSES!" Mandark grinned wickedly. The revenge he hungered for so long was finally within his grasp.

Megas landed in front of Mojo and Mandark's HQ. The headquarters was was huge dome shaped building with an outer decoration that looked like Mandark's glasses. "Definately the place." Dexter stated. Using the holographic computer, Kiva manged to boot up a skimatic of the lair. "I've got a lock on Blossom's energy aura!" Said Kiva. "She's in the top level of the complex!" "Of Course!" Jaime drulled. "Where Else would she be except the most dangerous place to get to!" "Hey prob." Coop said ready for action. "Let's RIP THE roof off and snag her!" "Wait Coop!" Dexter warned. "You don't know Mandark! He's bound to have.... At that moment. The entire area turned into a field of huge gatling guns, cannons, Lasers and other assorted nastiness. "A Trap?" Kiva asked finishing the sentence. "Yep a Trap." Dexter confirmed. Jaime screamed like a little girl as rounds upon rounds of missile fire shot off in Mgeas's direction. With expert (Or whatever qualifies as expert for him) Coop manuver Megas this way and that to avoid getting blasted. Things looked grim. They were in a stalemate.

Perched on one of the tall trees, Brick was watching the carnage unfold. "Heh," Brick observed. "Whoever's piloting that mech is either an ace pilot or too lucky for his own goood. Either way he's my kind of people." Brick zipped his way closer to the entrance of the base. With Megas having whoever was behind this preoccupied, now was the perfect chance to sneak in. As he eyed the entrance, he spotted a grate leading to a ventallation shaft. "Hmmm?" Brick pondered. "Would be more fun to just bust the door down and fight my way up, But I've just dying to use that infiltration training." and with that Brick swiftly tore the grate off and was in the shaft.

"MAAAAAN!" Coop griped. "This stinks,don't they ever run out of ammo?" Megas dodged this way and that but this was getting them nowhere. "This is Getting us Nowhere!" Dexter Stated. (Hey the narrator just said that!) "Coop!" said Dexter. "Switch to manuel control." "Now's not the time for DDR Dexter!" said Coop. "JUST DO IT!" Dexter commanded. Coop shrugged and activated the Manuel control. The floor of the car shifted to reveal a DDR platform complete with arrows and lights. "Alright Deedee! Your up!" Deedee got up on the platform. "What do I?" Deedee asked. Steam shot out of Dexter's ears at the girl's ignorance. "DANCE!" "DANCE!" Deedee squealed. "I'D LOVE TOO!" Deedee then started dancing ballerina style. With her operating on the manuel control, Megas followed and copied her every movement. Gracefully, dodge every bullet bomb and missile and through a combination of Deedee's destructive ballerina movement and Coop's equally destructive pro wrestling moves, Megas smashed, crushed and stomped every cannon. Dexter grinned. His plan had worked.

Mojo and Mandark watched as the dancing Megas took out all the perimeter guns. "BLAST IT ALL!" Shouted Mojo. He was positively livid, But Mandark had a lovelorn look on his face. "Those moves, That elegence, could it be?" He zoomed in and his hopes were confirmed. Hearts sparkled around Mandark's big bowling ball head." DeeeeeeeDeeeee? OH COULD FATE TRULY BE SO KIND YET SO CRUEL AS TO ALLOW ME TO ONCE AGAIN SEE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE ONLY FOR I TO HAVE HER PITTED AGAINST ME?" Mojo slapped Mandark upside head. "BACK TO REALITY MISTER!" Mojo commanded. Mandark snapped out of it. "Your right!" Mandark stated. Returning to the battle at hand, Mandark regained his assertiveness. "This ploy will not gain you the upper hand Dexter!" He then pressed the intercom. "SAMANTHA UNLEASH YOUR MEGABOT!"

As Megas smashed the last of the guns, Kiva observed the destruction in their wake. "Just when I thought we couldn't be any more destructive." She said rolling her eyes.
"Ain't it great?" Coop grinned. "Let's not celebrate yet." Dexter stated. "We still need to rescue... With out warning a large razor disk weapon (You know like the flying guillotine) Flew out of nowhere slicing Megas's chest. "OH MAN! And just after a new paint job!" Coop griped. Dropping out of the sky was a giant robot designed to look like a nasty cartoon bee. Piloting the robot from a dome up top was Samantha of the Darkstar council. "You boys wanna play rough, LET'S PLAY ROUGH!" This Megabot was one of Samantha's favorites, MEGABEE! Complete with a drill stinger no less. "Who's she?" Asked Jaime. "Not one of mine!" Dexter stated, Also confused about the newcomer. As far as he knew Mandark was never the one to recruit. Coop was geared. Trashing robot butt with Megas was what he lived for.  But with surprising speed the Megabee laid Megas down in one punch. Samantha gloated. "This is TOO easy. These guys are a joke!" Megabee shot into the sky and was about to dive bomb Megas with it's drill stinger Coop managed to roll them out of the way. However Megabee now had them in the Boston Crab. "COOP! We're in a tight one here!" Kiva shouted. Coop shook his head. "Look Dex, We're wasting too much time with this. Your going to have to go on ahead with out us!" "You sure?" Dexter asked not willing to abandon his friends. "Dexter HURRY!" Deedee cried "Ya gotta save Blossom!"
Dexter knew it was best to do it lone wolf style but he still didn't want to leave his friends. "Hey Coop said. "The Day I lose to some dumb cartoon bee is the day Jaime actually scores with a girl!" "HEY!" Whined Jaime. Dexter bro fisted Coop and they yelled ROCK ON! After getting a suffocating hug from Deedee, Dexter was out of Megas and on his way to Mandark's lair. Now Coop was ready.

Coop: Alright you Bozos! You kidnap a little girl, scratch up my robot's new paint job, Get us in a leg lock and....Well....NOBODY MESSES WITH MY FRIENDS!...except maybe me.

Kiva: Coop! What's WTF?


Using his grapple line, Dexter managed to latch on to one of the exausht ports of the base and was already in side. While deeper in the base, Brick found himself confronted by army of Kaijin. The stage was set for the final outcome!
