MLP Dragons Garble and Flash Sentry talk

Garble was resting on the roof top of the palace staring into the sky deep in thought. He had a lot on his mind. Just then Flash Sentry Fluttered next to him. Garble Groaned. It wasn't that he didn't like Flash. It was just that Flash had the usual habit of getting on EVERYONE'S Nerves. "What's up Lieutenant G?" Flash asked in his usually friendly manner. "You look like Your going through DEEP thinking, wondering and Emotional thought." If this had been a year or so ago, Garble would have slam dunked Flash into the nearest lava pit. But since he wasn't that Guy anymore, He might as well tell him.

"Flash." Garble asked. "Have you ever wanted to just go back in time to a point where things just weren't so....Confusing?" Garble went on. "Like back to a time where you and a certain..Female Friend...knew what you were. JUST FRIENDS and not..."This is about the whole thing with Twilight isn't it?" Flash answered. Garble just face palmed. "Arrgh!" Then he said. "Ever since she went to that human world and dated that human version of me. The whole world just seems to be..insane. I mean I've been talking about it with everyone over and over. And just recently. ME! MYSELF! just took her to a Hearts n H...Oh can't you guys just call it Valentines day?" "Would fit giving the species and Culture." Flash told him matter of factly. "I mean why do I keep coming back to it?" Garble continued. "I mean is the universe trying to tell me something? Because if it is than what?" "But I thought you liked being Friends with Twilight?" said Flash. "I Do!" said Garble. "I just didn't there would ever be the possibility we'd ever be THAT friendly!"
"HECK!" He went on. "After the way I was such a tail hole to Spike when we first met, I'm amazed she talks to me at all." Flash figured he might as well ask it. "Well did you ever have any.."Feelings" for Twi before she went to that world?" "Never really crossed my mind." said Garble. But a lot of my relationships in the past sorta blew up in my face. Quite literally! Now can help but maybe think those were the signs.


Flash chuckled a bit. "I think you're buying a bit too much into this. I mean, Rainbow Dash used to tell me you guys used to argue all the time. Maybe all this is happening just to help you guys bond better. Personally, I think if anything were to happen between you and Twilight, It be a beautiful thing." Fluttershy had said the same thing. Garble thought about Rarity and Spike. they were one thing but him and Twi were something else entirely. "Sound to me." Flash continued. "You're scared if it ever did come to that, and it got screwed up, You afraid it might be your fault." Garble looked at the orange, Blue mane pegasus and said. "Flash. How can a guy make so much sense and still be so dumb?" "Just lucky I guess." said Flash. As he turned, He smacked face first into one of the pillers. Dazed he stumbled off the roof. Garble grabbed him by his hind leg just in time.


Cadence, who listened, through the window, smiled. "My poor Garby. Sigh. sometimes it just best to let fate decide these things."
