"Sure Mike!" Bia Jetstream smiled. Before Mike Bogard, Teen Martial arts fighter, self appointed do gooder and some what hot tempered half wit could say anything. "I'd love to go to the Valentines Dance with you!" Mike was dumbstruck. He had spent the last half hour getting up the nerve. But now, Bia Jetstream, Most beautiful, wonderful girl he could imagine, Had just answered his question without him even asking. "Well...I..Uh..." Mike shook his head and asked. "How'd you know?" "Well." Bia grinned. "You've been dropping hints and I'm within earshot of you arguing with Buster and the rest about it!" Mike face palmed. "I'm not exactly deaf!" Bia giggled. Mike composed himself. "Well I didn't exactly know if you already had a date or not!" He Said. "I didn't want it to be like something in Dumb and dumber where the moron goes 2000 miles and woman's married!" This was obviously good because it got a laugh from Bia. "Well I'd be more than happy to go with you Mike!" Bia said sincerely. "Pick me up around 5:00?" "Yes YES YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!" Mike cried out. But then realized he was drawing stares and swallowed hard. "You got it!"

Bia's Bedroom

"And You said YES?" Jeri said surprised. "Well why not?" asked Bia. "It wouldn't hurt." "So I guess the feelings more mutual than I thought." Jeri grinned. "What do you mean?" asked Bia. "Oh Come on Sis!" said Jeri. "Mike maybe a blockhead, But it's been kind of no secret you've been beginning to feel as much for him as he does for you...Much to Dad's Chagrin." "Oh Jeri." Bia said rolling  her eyes. "Dad doesn't dislike Mike that much! He knows a lot of his ....mishaps...aren't intentional." But then, Bia sighed. "But you really think so? About the feelings between..." "Personally I Think you could do better than him anyway!" said Their little brother Bryan, peeking his head through the door. Bia got up and got him in a bear hug. "And what would you say was better little brother?" She grinned. "I don't know!" he laughed. "But still sis." said Jeri. "since Mike has been waiting for eternity for this, You might as well make yourself worth the wait." "Huh?" asked Bia as Jeri grabbed her hand and led her out the door. "Follow me Cinderella." grinned Jeri. "We're calling Fifi and having her meet us at the mall. We're getting you ready for the Ball!"

Night of the Dance

He knew he shouldn't have worn his head band. But he always felt naked without it. So he stuffed it in his pocket. Plus he hated having his unruly hair styled. But the guys insisted. He wasn't too into formal wear, But given this was his dream come true he might as well make himself presentable to Bia. He had flowers in hand (The price of Flowers was highway robbery if you asked him) Cologne sprayed on. (Stuff stung putting it on and The smell burned his nostrils). But this was it. He knocked on the door. The Door opened and..Mike thought he had died and went to heaven.

Bia was Gorgeous. She was breathtaking in the red dress and multi strapped dress sandals Fifi and picked out for her. He hair was golden and cascading and she was litirally sparkling in the moonlike. All Mike wanted to say was "I want a justice of the peace. NOW!" But at the moment he was going through every toon love wild taken known to man! Hearts In the eyes! Horns coming from nowhere the works. Bia gave him a coy smile. She held his hands and he calmed down. "I...I...Wasn't..." "you don't look so bad yourself." Bia told him. "But.." She ran her hands through his and hair and it went back to his usual unruly fashion and she tied his Headband back on. "But you didn't have to be that formal on account of me." She said. "Thanks!" Said Mike really appreciative. "And Mike." Bia said. "Lose the Girddle." Mike fumed with Embarressment and did what he was told.

The Dance was at the Acme Dance Hall and all their toon friends were there. Bugs and Lola. Daffy and Melissa. Porky and Petunia. Buster and Babs. Plucky and Shirley. Hamton and Fifi. Yakko and Wakko with (The author couldn't Decide) and Dot had grabbed whoever she could. Even Hubie and Marina and Littlefoot and Ali were there. The dance music was Saturday Night by the Bay Rollers. Jeri and her boyfriend were there already. And she cast an ever watchful eye to see how Bia and Mike were doing. Mike was getting Bia some punch. But when pulled the dipper out he was shocked to see..."Who Spiked the Punch?!" Mike demanded. Which in truth, in the ladle was indeed a large railroad spike). "That Joke never gets old!" Bia laughed. Then music for slow dance began. It was Helplessly in Love by New Edition.

"Come on Mike!" said Bia grabbing him by the arm. "Yike!" Mike yelped as he was lead to the dance floor. As the music started, Bia and Mike held hands looked each other in the eyes. Sweat pouring out of him, Mike admitted. "I...Have No Clue how to Dance." "Well. Here's a quick lesson." Bia smiled. She then gently wrapped her arms around him and held him close. Mike was on Cloud 9. "Just hold me close and we'll move around slowly." Bia said softly. Her voice full of affection. As they Held one another, Although, Seeming Calm, Mike's brain was in hyperdrive. It was Dream come true. What had once been thought inattainable. What had been thought impossible. Was actually happening. The girl of his dreams was actually giving him a chance and it was wonderful. Now if only his brain wasn't going like this: What to do? Do something Stupid! NO! Screw It Up! NO! Break Something! NO! Dang it Brain what's wrong with you? What do you expect Goofus! It's YOUR Brain.

Bia however was truly calm and happy. She was having a wonderful time. All her friends were here. She was with a boy who truly cared about and loved her. Who made her feel safe. And she was starting to realize she liked him to. And the more blissful Bia seemed to be, The more calm Mike seemed to be. She whispered to him. "I'm having a wonderful time." "I know I am!" Mike said. "You should know." Bia said. "I was gonna ask you to be my Valentine anyway!" "Really?" gulped. "Really, Really!" Said Bia. Then She kissed Him. Mike tried his absolute best not to faint from love sickness.

After some more Dancing, And it was time to go, Bia hugged Mike and said. "It's still early! Wanna catch that Batman Superman movie! Don't worry. Scrapped Jessie Esienberg and started from scratch!" Would I Ever!" Said Mike.

After the Movie (Which Bia had let Mike have her arm around her the entire time). Bia and Mike sat on a park Bench, Looking at the moon. "This really was a Wonderful night Mike." Bia told him sweetly. "This was honestly the best date I ever had." "Sure was." said Mike. "First one where I never got pepper sprayed." "It's beautiful night." Bia said softly curling up close to him. Mike's heart was beating out his chest cartoony style, 2000 beats per minute. Bia blushed. "You are really sweet." Bia said. Then she puckered up. Mike was nervous as a cat in a Chinese restaurant. "Mike." Bia cooed. She gave him sweetest smile in the universe and hearts floated around her head. That made it all the more easier for Mike to hug her and then they kissed each other fully, and lovingly on the lips.

Mike dropped Bia off at her front door. "I'd like to go another date." Bia told him. "A lot more actually!" "I know I would." said Mike. They held each other for a good long while, Then kissed lovingly again. And that was the moment Bia Jetstream knew she was in love. He was hardly a prince charming. He could still stand to think a bit more. But he loved her. she loved him and that was all that should ever matter.
